Midway Reminder for Crafty Hazelnut's extra for October

Making Christmas cards all year round should solve the problem of the November panic!!

Here's my midway reminder Design Team make for the October Challenge of

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

The image is Christmas Tree Row, coloured with Promarkers and cut out.

My theme this month is recycling.
I have used a recycled Christmas card as the background on a white card base.

I have then added glamour dust to highligyt some parts of the image and a banner across the bottom.

Do have a look at the other makes to inspire you over at Crafty Hazelnut's Extra

Looking forward to seeing your make...

Happy Crafting!

  1. So pretty.
Good idea to use greeting cards as the
backdrop. I usually keep the ones
that I think I can use - wonder if
people think that' being cheap but
they do fit in well with my handcrafted
    pieces on the card.
    thanks for sharing.

    1. Greetings cards are such good card, they are also good for running through in embossing folders. Several of my makes this Halloween have started with a recycled card, embossed and then painted with black gesso. I tend to collect all mine and pick and choose like you...

  2. Great card and a great way to recycle a beautiful card from a previous year. Your row of trees is very cute!
