12 Months of Christmas February Challenge #38

This is my DT make for the February Challenge

This month the theme is To a Loved One

Our sponsors are  Mari Digis

I have made a triple easel card made for a small boy to give to his Grandpa

Using

B63-A estrelinha
http://maridigisstore2.blogspot.ca/2015/11/b63-estrelinha.html

and a paper from

This is how the card looks as it leaves the envelope - I have layered white card and yellow card under the image which was coloured with various markers and a Wink of Stella - the sparkle is hard to see in the photos. The star on the image is more of the yellow card. I also added an edging of sparkle around all the stars with a glitter pen.

On opening this becomes one of three easel features:

The other stars were cut with nesting dies and the
You're a Star, Grandpa
dies were from Craftstash and a freebie.

I have seen pictures of triple easel cards on the net - but this one I just figured out for myself.

Please check out the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up for details of all the prizes!

Hope to see your make in the Challenge!

Happy Crafting!

  1. So appropriate. It's been
so cold for the last month or so -
    much colder than usual.
    Cute card.
    thanks for sharing.
